TCL: Strategic Marketing planning and consulting workshops
Synopsis:

KMG designed and held a strategic planning consulting workshop for TCL from 2003 to 2004 (China's leading TV and home appliances company). In doing so, KMG helped TCL organize the core problems and their solutions in facing the market in the future. After this, KMG remained in touch with TCL on an advisory capacity, and in 2013 took part in TCL's multimedia department's strategic planning process.

KMG designed and held a strategic planning consulting workshop from 2003 to 2004, with the end purpose being to satisfy TCL's needs for further knowledge and strategic design. This event utilized a three stage process to help TCL acquire further knowledge and create specially tailored content for TCL's strategic needs, with KMG providing strategic action planning advice for TCL.

Stage 1:

KMG staged interviews with TCL's executives to confirm workshop content and TCL's marketing case contents. After two days of interviews to assess TCL's needs, KMG produced a summarizing report on interview results and TCL's cases.

Stage 2:

Once KMG's advice was approved by TCL, a series of courses were developed in reference to TCL's actual status. The courses included lectures, case studies and work templates. In the following 4 days, the President of KMG Milton Kotler and Doctor Jonathan began to implement the project, with KMG providing assistance in formulating new ideas to TCL's managers through studying and discussion and creating a systematic approach to marketing, with further, systematic thinking and conclusions. TCL's executive vice president Xincheng Yuan, described the event as being 'a four day period of learning the newest information in marketing, with many unique and fresh concepts provided by KMG. The event also allowed us to truly assess TCL's strategic problems and options for market penetration and allow us to rethink our marketing strategies.'

Stage 3:

KMG produced an action plan based on feedback from the workshop and further analysis, with TCL's managers thought processes being evaluated in the plan and advice on further movements to help TCL design and execute these new ideas. Mr. Xincheng Yuan described the action plan as 'full of creativity and outlook on the future, with the marketing advice being of immense help to us at TCL. We hope to maintain further relationships with KMG.'

Skyworth: Strategic marketing plan for new products
Synopsis:

In 2005, KMG provided strategic marketing planning and management advice for Skyworth on a corporate level, with effective development advice being proposed for Skyworth's 'healthy TV' plan. This project was met with approval by then CEO of Skyworth Hongsheng Huang.

Over 10 different future development strategies were proposed by KMG to critical acclaim. We hope to maintain close relations with Skyworth on its path of future development.
